Press Release: Bills Signed: H.R. 208, H.R. 264, H.R. 772, H.R. 1002

On Friday, August 6, 2021, the President signed into law:

H.R. 208, which designates the facility of the United States Postal Service located at 500 West Main Street, Suite 102 in Tupelo, Mississippi, as the Colonel Carlyle “Smitty” Harris Post Office;

H.R. 264, which designates the facility of the United States Postal Service located at 1101 Charlotte Street in Georgetown, South Carolina, as the Joseph Hayne Rainey Memorial Post Office Building;

H.R. 772, which designates the facility of the United States Postal Service located at 229 Minnetonka Avenue South in Wayzata, Minnesota, as the Jim Ramstad Post Office; and

H.R. 1002, the “Debarment Enforcement of Bad Actor Registrants Act of 2021 or the DEBAR Act of 2021,” which authorizes the Attorney General to issue an order to prohibit any person from being registered to manufacture, distribute, or dispense controlled substances under certain circumstances.
